Pourable ~ Brushable ~ Sprayable

POURABLE POLYURETHANE MOLD RUBBERS

Poly 74 Series

Poly 75 Series

These polyurethane rubbers range in hardness from a soft A-20 to a firm A-80.  Easy mix ratios make these products our most popular and versatile for casting plaster, wax, concrete and limited quantities of resin.

Poly 81 Series

These products are very hard with excellent abrasion and moisture resistance in cured form. They are used for making a variety of hard rubber parts, forms, tools, rollers, etc. where the best wear and highest performance is expected from a hard liquid rubber. Poly 81-90 is a very firmer rubber with a Shore A-90 hardness. Poly 81-D45 and Poly 81-D55 are even harder systems that have only very slight flexibility and a feel that borders on that of a plastic.

Poly-Fast 72-40

Poly-Fast 72-40 is a dense, medium hardness rubber used primarily for casting plaster, waxes and in some cases cement. This product can be thickened with a liquid additive (Part D) to create brushed molds and can be softened with Part C to make rubbers softer than an A-10. This product may degrade with age and should not be considered for molds where long shelf life is required.

BRUSHABLE POLYURETHANE MOLD RUBBERS

Polygel® 35, 40 & 50

Patented Polygel® mold rubbers are 1:1 mix liquids that thicken during mixing to a brushable or sprayable viscosity. No Cab-O-Sil® or Part D is needed. Polygel® 35 is the softest, stretchiest Polygel® rubber for more difficult to demold or undercut models. Polygel® 35 cures within ~8 hours at 75 degrees F or warmer. Polygel® 50 can be applied about 1/4 inch thick while Polygel® 40 is thinner for best detail penetration. Polygel® Spray 50 is a sprayable version. A mold can be made in an afternoon and cured overnight.

SPRAYABLE POLYURETHANE MOLD RUBBERS

Polygel® Spray 50 & Polygel® 35

Polygel® Spray 50 is a sprayable version of Polygel® 50. Polygel® 35 is softer for more delicate and undercut models and castings. A mold can be sprayed in one application and cured overnight. Spraying is a very economical alternative to brushing for molds made over large models and surface areas.
