Life Casting

Life Casting ProductsThe process of life casting involves making a mold of the human form and then reproducing it in a variety of artful casting media, including cold cast bronze, plaster, concrete, plastic, life-like silicone and more.

Polytek® manufactures three life casting materials: contact-safe silicone rubber to make reusable life cast molds, an alginate-based option for single-use molds, and a skin-safe wax for less sensitive parts of the body (e.g., feet, hands).
