Poly LiteCast Liquid Casting Resin
Poly LiteCast is a lightweight, wood-like polyurethane plastic that is often used as an alternative to plaster and concrete. This product is typically used to make lightweight decorative moldings, props, patterns, fixtures and tools.
This room-temperature curing, two-part plastic has a 1A:1B mix ratio by weight and can be drilled, sanded and machined in cured form (contains no silica fillers).
Poly LiteCast can be cast in PlatSil® and TinSil® silicone molds without any release agent and can be cast in polyurethane rubber molds and latex molds with the proper release agent (e.g., Pol-Ease® 2300 Release Agent).
For a lightweight, machinable polyurethane plastic with slightly more flexibility than Poly LiteCast, consider Poly Plasti-Flex Casting Resin.
