PlatSil^® Gel-OO Silicone Rubber is a two-part, platinum-catalyzed, liquid silicone system that cures (RTV) to a milky white, Shore OO30 rubber. This silicone is most often used to make prosthetic appliances (in conjunction with Smith's Theatrical Prosthetic Deadener) and in other special effects applications.

Add PlatSil^® 71/73 Part R Retarder to PlatSil^® silicone rubbers to slow the pour times and cure times.

PlatSil^® 71/73 Part R Retarder

Aerosol spray release agent that can be washed off of models. Can be applied to sealed or non-porous models for use with liquid silicone rubbers.
Also use to extend the mold life of silicone rubber molds when casting certain materials.
Can be applied to polyurethane rubber molds when release agent needs to be washed off of cast parts (to more easily accept paint), but the mold will degrade faster than when using Pol-Ease^® 2300 Release Agent.

Pol-Ease^® 2500 Release Agent

Add Silicone Fluid sparingly to liquid silicone rubbers (TinSil^® & PlatSil^®) to thin the mix and soften the cured rubber.
Also results in loss of strength and cure speed.
