Polytek® polyurethane rubbers are categorized into eight series. Select a series below for more information:
Poly 74-Series mold rubbers are used to make high-strength, abrasion resistant, long-lasting molds. Economical & versatile. Popular with plaster casters, concrete precasters and art foundries, but also used for a variety of additional industrial, artistic and commercial applications.
Shore Hardness Range: A20 to A55
Poly 75-Series mold rubbers are high-strength, abrasion-resistant, long lasting and economical. Primarily used for high production concrete casting, forming and texturing, but useful for a variety of additional industrial, artistic and commercial applications.
Shore Hardness Range: A60 to A80
PT Flex Series rubbers are fast-setting, rapid demold polyurethane systems developed specifically for prototyping and model making applications. This series offers a wide range of Shore Hardness options (A20 – D60). Most PT Flex products have simple, 1A:1B mix ratios and have 4 to 5-minute pour times and 2-hour demold times.
Shore Hardness Range: A20 to D60
Polygel® Series mold rubbers are self-thickening and ideal for making thin blanket molds of any size. Brushable and sprayable options available.
Shore Hardness Range: A35 & A50 Options
FormRub Series rubbers are designed to make high-performance molds that stand up to the rigors of high-production casting and forming of concrete. Low viscosity, 1A:1B mix ratios.
Shore Hardness Range: A35 to A65
Poly 81-Series rubbers are great for creating durable molds, mold facings, stamping tools, industrial parts, rollers, gaskets, mold shells, bumpers, pads and much more.
Shore Hardness Range: A90 & D45 Options
Poly-Fast 72-40 is a dense, medium hardness rubber used primarily for casting plaster, waxes and in some cases, concrete. Unlike other polyurethane rubbers, this system offers a liquid thickener accessory.
Shore Hardness Range: A40
Poly GlassRub 50 is a pale, blue-clear liquid polyurethane rubber that finds use as both a mold rubber and casting rubber since it can make stunning flexible parts and art objects which are clear, colored or filled with dry fillers. Simple 1A:1B mix ratio and Shore A45-A50 hardness.
Shore Hardness: A50
